Overlay Problem

In a Hero section when i add a picture for background of the section and add overlay, buttons goes unclickable and in the backend the first buton link is automatic deleted.

I removed that section and added a new one, and happens the same… looks like a bug.

Hero Section (buttons) + Image Background + Overlay = Unclickable buttons on frontend and automatic delete of the button 1 link in backend

Hello Sumo-Ling5,

Thank you for the details. We have tested this setup extensively and found everything to be functioning correctly on our end. There appears to be no bug affecting the buttons or links in hero sections with an image background and overlay. However, to ensure that everything is working on your site, please log out of your Vzy account, clear your browser cache, and then log back in. This might resolve any lingering issues caused by caching. Let us know if the problem persists after these steps.

Best regards,

Please go here: https://scampini.me/

And check this area:

I added the picture and put overlay, and buttons now are not clickable. I tested on several browsers, and other people told me too. And if you are able to check on backend

image

In this area, the first link is automatically removed when i publish the page it was original an subdomain link (external) https://blog.scampini.me as soon as i added the background picture + overlay and publish the site… is automatically removed and buttons are not clickable, even the one that has an internal link is not clickable either.

I’m leaving like that for some days so you can check it. Let me know once you check it so i can change it to a functional way.

Hello Sumo-Ling5,

We visited your site https://scampini.me/ and carefully reviewed the issue you described with the non-clickable buttons over the image with overlay. Our tests showed that upon publishing, the link in Button 1 disappears while Button 2 remains intact and Button 1 and Button 2 are clickable. We’ve documented this behavior in a video we recorded during our testing process, which confirmed the issue on the editor only and not on the live website.

We are now actively working to resolve this problem and will keep you updated. Thank you for your patience and for providing such detailed feedback.

Best regards,
